Eucalyptus is one of the most valuable materials in the world, being available in 900 species and having enormous economic importance to more than 100 countries. Eucalyptus is one of the most planted trees in the world; being the primary resource for paper production, due to its fast growth, high productivity, high bulk density, fiber properties, carbon storage and variety. The team at Timbeter has successfully developed method to measure the volume of eucalyptus, bringing accurate results to several clients all over the world.
For the second year in a row, Timbeter was asked to participate at the Timber Measurement Society meeting to learn and discuss the latest trends in timber measurement.
Timbeter’s engineering team has been working on a special solution for logs that are exported in containers to Asia. Today we launched a separate application called Timbeter Container to make life easier for those exporting timber in containers.
The differences in measuring pulpwood can lead to several disputes amongst parties. Disagreements arise due to subjective measurements made by manual eye vision. There is a more accurate way to measure pulpwood.
Hereby I will explain the problematics related to pulp-and fuelwood measurement. Timbeter has developed new functionality for automatic coefficient assessment to measure the volume of pulp-and fuelwood. Hopefully this will make timber measurement less stressful to all as it is reliable and affordable.
